Lagos Food Bank

is a registered non-profit organization under Part C, Section 590 of Companies and Allied Matters Act Cap 20 LFN 2004. | RC No.: 80366.

We are committed to fighting malnutrition and hunger, reducing food waste, providing emergency services and organizing self-sustenance programs to the under-served communities through our food banking network across Lagos State.

Since 2015 we have reached up to 86 rural and under-served communities in Lagos State and over 1,000,000 beneficiaries, especially, children between the ages of 0-16 years, elderly from 50 years and above and vulnerable women, in terms of food and other relief items.

Our response to COVID-19 pandemic: In line with the Community Emergency Preparedness and Response Initiative (CEPR), we launched COVID-19 Emergency Food Intervention Plan (CEFIP) since the 26th of March, 2020. Due to the impact COVID-19 will have on access to food especially in the vulnerable areas within Lagos. Since the start of our CEFIP, we have reached over 10000 vulnerable families across 10 communities within Lagos providing them with raw food items for a period of 1-2 weeks depending on family size.
