JAKIN N.G.O established on October 12th, 2003 to solve some of the social ills in our society is registered as Jakin Initiative International Company Limited by Guarantee (RC 629819).

Our KEY FOCUS AREAS are health, education and entrepreneurship, while our TARGET POPULATION are vulnerable groups including orphans and Vulnerable Children (VC), Widows, People Living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA’s), grassroot women, slum dwelling girls, indigent youth, less privileged families and hard to reach communities. OUR VISION is a global village devoid of poverty and its consequences while our MISSION is to work with vulnerable groups in Africa to overcome economic, educational and health hardships. JAKIN N.G.O is currently implementing 20 projects within our key focus areas across Lagos State.

Our expertise and experience working through partnerships with several corporate organizations, groups, local NGOs, International NGO’s and donor agencies to successfully implement projects across Lagos State over the years has proven our capacity to deliver quality interventions according to donor funder specifications. In 2019 alone, JAKIN N.G.O implemented 17 projects reaching 897 orphans and vulnerable children, 1,103 Adolescent Girls slum dwelling girls, 204 widows and People Living With HIV, 356 indigent youth, 762 indigent families and 7,168 indigent community members.

Within the last 24 months, we have received funding from USAID, ACT Foundation, Canadian Embassy, FCMB, European Union, Sage Innovations (USA), FBN Insurance, Ooni of Ife HRH Oba Adeyeye -Health Alive Initiative, OANDO Foundation, GLOBAL FUND, ECC –Southern Australia, Falcon Corporation ltd, Gamesville Foundation, among others.
